Hi, I’m Ed, the creator behind Swiss Adventures. Originally from the UK, I first discovered Switzerland in 2012 on a hike up the Grosser Mythen with a friend. I’d never really experienced the outdoors before, and that day completely changed me; the landscapes, the sense of freedom, the sheer beauty of it all. From then on, I wanted to see every corner of this country.

What started as a way to share photos and short clips with friends back home soon began to grow. More and more people started following along, curious about the places I was visiting. That’s how Swiss Adventures began; unintentionally at first, then with purpose, as I realised how much people wanted to experience the real Switzerland.

Today, Swiss Adventures is about inspiring others to explore this country in their own way; whether it’s a scenic drive, a peaceful lake walk, a mountain trail, or discovering a hidden village off the map. I don’t just show the famous spots; I try to give enough insight so people can plan their own adventures and truly see how stunning Switzerland is.

When I create a reel, I focus on the mood — finding music that fits the moment, capturing scenes that feel true to being there. My goal is simple: to make people feel inspired enough to add one more place to their Swiss bucket list.
